ENLIGHTENING THE FUTURE
INTERACTIVE INSTALLATION
During Milan Design Week 2021, Marcel Wanders Studio invited us to design a sensory corridor within the Audi space: a 14-meter-long immersive installation conceived to merge tactile interaction and generative visuals. The corridor was composed of two soft, responsive walls that reacted dynamically to touch, revealing vibrant graphic compositions inspired by the concepts of speed, innovation, energy, and passion. Through direct interaction, visitors could manipulate generative visual systems in real time, transforming the space into a living and evolving digital surface. A key element of the experience was the use of soft-touch fabric, which introduced an unexpected tactile depth to the interaction. The contrast between the physical softness of the material and the reactive digital visuals created a surprising sensory dimension, encouraging visitors to explore the installation through both movement and touch.
