RAFFAELLO IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE

At La Permanente in Milan, we created an immersive art experience dedicated to the life and legacy of the Renaissance master Raffaello Sanzio. Set within a fully projected environment enhanced by sculptural volumes and three-dimensional scenic compositions, the installation was designed to create layered visual perspectives and a deeply cinematic atmosphere. Through a narrative journey unfolding across space, the experience guided visitors through the different stages of Raffaello's life, from childhood to his final years, exploring both the emotional and artistic evolution of one of the greatest painters of the Italian Renaissance. Raffaello's artworks came to life through large-scale projections, animated visual storytelling, and spatialized sound design, transforming paintings, sketches, and historical references into a living immersive narrative. The use of spatial audio gave voice to the emotions, thoughts, and atmospheres surrounding the artist’s life, allowing visitors to experience his world not as distant history, but as an intimate and emotional journey through art, memory, and imagination.
