EUROLEAGUE
VIDEOMAPPING
For the EuroLeague Final Four held in Vitoria-Gasteiz, in the Basque Country, we were commissioned to create the full visual content for both the opening and closing ceremonies of one of Europe’s most prestigious basketball events. Our work involved the development of a large-scale immersive visual system spanning the entire arena: from the projection mapping on the basketball court itself to the 360° videomapping of the central tulle cylinder suspended at the core of the show. We also designed the visual content for the LED ring and the large LED walls surrounding both the court and the audience, transforming the venue into a fully synchronized audiovisual environment. Far from being a traditional videomapping performance, the show was conceived as a live immersive experience in direct interaction with performers and choreography. Visual content dynamically responded to the staging, creating a continuous dialogue between digital imagery, movement, music, and space. From a visual perspective, the project explored optical illusions, three-dimensional deformations, and geometric flat graphics capable of altering the perception of the court depending on the audience’s viewpoint. Each visual identity and color palette was carefully designed to represent the four competing teams, generating an energetic and emotionally charged atmosphere throughout the event.
