SUPEROMNIA
IMMERSIVE AUDIO/LIGHT INSTALLATION

SUPEROMNIA is an audiovisual installation presented at Bright Festival 2026 in Florence. A perceptual experience shaped through space, sound, imagery, and human sensation, the work explores the relationship between form and perception. Structured in four chapters, each defined by distinct visual atmospheres and immersive soundscapes, the installation revolves around a simple suspended rear-projection screen that appears to transform continuously while never truly changing. Through this shifting perception, opposing interpretations emerge: surveillance and protection oppression and guidance, threat and transcendence. SUPEROMNIA questions the idea of a single, objective reality. What exists above us can be perceived as control or salvation, weight or openness, limitation or possibility. The surface becomes a symbolic screen onto which fears, desires, and expectations are projected. It is not the object itself that changes, but the surrounding context and the inner state of the observer.
